Hadith Eleven of An-Nawawi

On the authority of Abu Muhammad al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib, the grandson of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his beloved (may Allah be pleased with both of them), who said: I memorised from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “Leave that which makes you doubt for what that which does not make you doubt”.

Hadith Ten of An-Nawawi

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Verily Allah the most high is Pure and He does not accept (anything) except that it is pure. And verily Allah commanded the believers to do that which He has commanded the Messengers.

Hadith Five of An-Nawawi

On the authority of the mother of the faithful Um Abdillah A’isha (radiyaAllahu ‘anha) who said that the Messenger of Allah (sallaAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said:
“He who innovates something in this matter of ours [i.e. Islam] that which is not of it will have it rejected [by Allah]”.
